Honorary Citizenship

The Ministry of Citizenship is currently accepting applications for honorary citizenship so that more people can become involved in the development of the Commonwealth. Honorary citizens are trustees of our nation’s goals and the personification of its ideals.

Honorary citizens are considered fully Petonian, but cannot vote or hold public office. They are urged, however, to participate in the country by exchanging ideas, petitioning the government, and interacting with other Petonians. Also, when the Petonian Commonwealth further establishes itself and begins to review applications for full citizenship, honorary citizens will have first priority and a simpler application process.

To apply for honorary citizenship, please complete the below application. It will take approximately two weeks for your application to be processed. Provided that it is approved, a Certificate of Honorary Citizenship will be sent to the e-mail address you provide. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Ministry of Citizenship here.

There are no fees associated with honorary citizenship, and should they wish to, honorary citizens are free to relinquish it at any time.
